What I wouldn't give for a Game of Thrones or LOTR open-world RPG game like Witcher 3.

Surprisingly nobody has done it yet.

I mean of course saying something out loud from our ideas-storage inside the brains is entirely different from game development lol

In all seriousness tho these I'm just a big superfan of these 2 high fantasy epics & for sure many other gamers as well.

There's the Mordor games yes & those are excellent but again something like Witcher 3 where exploration, sidequests, customization, usual RPG mechanics like towns, etc.

Not aware of GOT games except for that BROWSER one tho.

If it's a lore issue there can be ways to do it (ie Talion) like creating a custom character.

The tech is already there obviously it's just the collective will at this point I guess. Plus both are popular again now with new seasons of House of the Dragon & Rings of Power.

Ideally as fan hopefully CD Projekt Red or Sucker Punch (Ghost of Tsushima) can do either one or both.

I know we have the Shadow of Mordor games but I'd kill for a proper RPG set in TLOTR universe, specifically one made by CDPR or Larian.

Also, if you like GOT then try the Telltale one. It was really good

Theres a really good Game of Thrones mod for Crusader Kings 2/3 called A Game Of Thrones/A song of ice and fire. If you enjoy CK2/CK3 I think you would enjoy it.

A game like Skyrim or Witcher set across Middle Earth has literally been my dream game for almost a decade now and nothing comes close. Best hope atm is a Baggins Saga Lego game.

Man, an open world lotr RPG would have such a huge canvas to get into. I just got into Shadow of War, and as great as it is, like others have said, a real RPG would be incredible. Think of the character creation you could do, elves, rangers, dwarves, wizards etc. Not to mention The locations! The source material is so rich.

Same here Cap! For me LOTR1-3 remains the best trilogy ever (ROTK being the #1 movie ever) & when I got to play Witcher 3 it clicked lol Especially those Wild Hunt guys looking like Nazguls chasing Yen right!

Is the Baggins Saga on PS4? Can't seem to find it on PSN tho.

Dude no kidding I mean even if it's just Aragorn story so it'll be easier to do lol that will suffice!

Imagine playing as him like Geralt in Witcher right, from his early days as ranger to meeting Hobbits, exploring Bree, Weathetop, etc. his rise as the King of Gondor & so on!

But yeah totally so in with creating custom character plus weather it's Numenorian, elf, dwarf, Hobbit, etc. then you forged your own path & find the One ring so you decide on your own what do you freakin do with this powerful as **** ring lol

It doesn't exist lol It's just my hopium for what they do after Skywalker Saga; a full 6 movies lotr lego game. We never even got lego hobbit 3 cause of some dispute.
