Strong showings overall but for me didn't have a big BANG reveal. Showed a few things that I'm personally excited for but most of them were already announced.
Most definitely. Flow between trailers and awards was nice, less filler and the self depreciating humour at least shows they listen to people's criticisms even if it doesn't completely change the show. Geoff carried this years shows imo but I'm not too sure if that's magnified by the lack of something from everyone else.

For sure it was more like it should be and I hope it means the next one is good too.
And well yeah maybe... It was the best one during 2024 and the Xbox one was kind of good too. Nintendo wasn't too bad either... But I hope the Sony ones will be better in 2025 though!
I thought this year's game awards was the best one yet. You could really tell Geoff was excited and emotional about it. To see someone who genuinely loves video games have something he can be proud of like that was awesome. Not many announcements of games I will probably play, but that's fine too because I'm happy for everyone else to play games! Plus, my backlog is full enough! And with Switch 2 coming I'm sure it will just grow!
