Verdansk returning to Warzone is a massive success story, but there is always the fear that the map will be removed or replaced in the rotation. Raven Software alleviated those concerns. Caldera replaced Verdansk as the primary Warzone map in December 2021 after a remarkable run that almost lasted two years. Since then, battle royale maps have typically been replaced after two years. For example, Caldera and Urzikstan survived two years before being shut down. Al Mazrah was a rare exception and only made it one year. Verdansk is an interesting case, as the map launched in April, which is […]

I think a full replacement is never the best move unless done right. I think expanding upon what you already know and love is the best thing to do. For example, you could keep verdansk as the OG map but adding onto it like adding the train from train station and make it operational, expanding it to open the ocean with boats, adding fighter jets to the runways in airport, takes and heavy vehicles in military base etc… with proper caveats of course like limited ammo for tanks & jet, or fuel in the boat… this could be loot you could add as well. I think this would be a new special addition to COD that’s never been there before. People would rave about it, catching new players, taking players from games like BF, and creating a more diverse experience in gaming. This obviously leaves critique open for how much time could be spent if gas moves too fast… Another idea would be keeping every map that was created and allowing the lobby that is going in on a game to vote for what map they want to play sort of how multiplayer is set up. But never having the same map stuck in the algorithm over and over again sort of like in a round robin or even the same maps but at night for one of them for nighttime play with its own set of attributes. Only if it becomes too overplayed of course. IMO, I could play verdansk for a long time but it will get boring one day. And I think these ideas are best to consider.

Keep Verdansk forever and the number of players returning proves gamers opinions in recent years! Voting on 2/3 maps in a lobby could work also but I do believe Verdansk needs to stay as it is forever! It’s the best map in my opinion by a long shot and brings back so many memories during isolation! Me and my best friend had so many laughs and don’t want Verdansk to ever leave again from Warzone!

I do believe though maybe bringing back some of the old guns or having more of a choice from the older COD games could be a game changer also! I haven’t seen many of the old guns and it’s nice to use a bigger selection of guns as I do really like the original guns in old Verdansk!
