Let's share our favourites not only for nostalgic purposes but also for awareness so that others get to play these underappreciated games we come to know & love!

So for me right now I'll just mention few faves over the years I've known that I think not many have played or even if they do they've forgotten about it for one reason or another.

1. RADIATA STORIES - This PS2 game is honestly one of the best JRPGs I've played ever. It's charming, packed with tons of content & variety but most of all sick soundtrack. Why Square hasn't make it available on PSN for everyone to play bothers me so much! And yes I'm 😡 !!!

2. SOULCALIBUR - I honestly I still feel the SC series is severely underrated especially compared to its cousin Tekken. I wonder why & I can't pin point the precise reason. It can't be the superb gameplay or cool characters... Right? VI is the most accessible as of this moment so guys check it out & thank me later.

3. VAGRANT STORY - I believe this PS1 game is the Dark Souls "before" Dark Souls lol But seriously I'm very surprised Square hasn't done anything with this one for several years & generations now since.

4. APEX - This OG Xbox exclusive racing game is so far ahead of its time with its unique approach; build your own car company. Like really from the logo, name, etc. It looks on par with Forza & PGR too at the time.

5. STEAMBOT CHRONICLES - This PS2 mech JRPG is just beautiful both literally & figuratively. It's open world too. I have no idea how did the devs fit this game on a single DVD but I sincerely thank them for making this masterpiece. What a game it is.

Share yours everyone! Thanks!

Fully agree with Radiata Stories, perfect classic of the JRPG scene.

Darksiders -- The series doesn't get nearly enough props. Cool lore, cooler characters and a great spin on a classic hack and slasher; all while looking great.
1 was almost pure hack and slash, 2 added in a bunch of rpg elements and 3 was a tad more soulslike with the technicality of the combat - even the spin off, Genesis, had it's own fun puzzles and duo combat.

Black -- probably the most ahead of its time FPS game ever. Epic epic action, phenomenal sound design and destructability of the environment all on ps2/xbox.

Uncharted 1, 2, 3 and RDR1 -- I know people might be a bit fed up of remakes/remasters but hear me out. These games deserve full on remakes to the quality of their latest installments. Unbelievabley good games and 1000% recommend you play them however you can *cough cough* emulator.

Dude Black rocks so much!

Tho IIRC it doesn't have multiplayer but yeah it's campaign was so fun & gunplay was as you said ahead of it's time. Btw idn't EA intentionally not release it on PS360 to prove a point or something?

Back when EA was... Well what it was lol

I think another FPS from that era that EA had was the Medal of Honor series. Awesome games especially Underground.

Speaking of soldier themed games bro do you remember ARMY MEN 3D on the PS1 ?!!

That game freakin owns too!

I thought the recent Mad Max game was helluva underrated. It was such fun, had some depth to it and the vehicle combat was well done. It's a shame most didn't notice it.

Dude for real.

I'm playing it right now (still in Jeet area) & I'm just busy exploring everywhere & collecting stuff like cars, ornaments, etc.

Also it's the only game where I'm genuinely **** my pants when it comes to its weather system 🤣 those sandstorms are legit scary right!

Avalanche is honestly one of the most talented devs around & no idea why they haven't as much output as others I mean Just Cause 3 is amazing, Mad Max & Rage 2 but after those... Haven't heard from them.

IMO they should do the next Twisted Metal or John Wick game. This studio & its team is priceless I hope they could continue to make brilliant games!

A sequel was definitely cancelled can't remember why though.

Army Men is an absolute blast from the past what a game! 🫡

For real Cap those Army Men games were such truly gems, especially 3D.

Its OFFLINE SPLITSCREEN multiplayer alone was so fun to play; it's so simple yet so complex right IYKYK.

What I wouldn't give for that franchise to make a comeback but with 3DO gone now... It will take Elon Musk money for it to make it so 😭

Oure, a PS4 exclusive. A great indie title that only received a 53/100 on metacritic. It's short, but it is sweet. I was addicted from the start until the end. Secrets, orbs, puzzles. Combat isn't that great, but it really isn't about combat. Just my 2 cents, as nobody ever talked about it.
