I was expected to see the next Far Cry titles in the last year's Ubisoft Forward event but apparently, Ubisoft haven't refered to announce the Far Cry 7 and Far Cry Maverick so when it is going to be announced?

Going back to Star Wars: Outlaws, they've announced the game in Xbox Games Showcase in June followed by a gameplay reveal at their exclusive event. Far Cry 6 was also gone in a same approach, the announcement was taken place in September 2020's Ubisoft Forward that was set the release for February 2021, then delayed and in June 2021, we have seen the first gameplay before an imminent release in October 6th. In a conclusion, we could expect the FC7 and FC extraction title to get revealed in May 2025 and a following deep dive in Ubisoft Forward 2025 (if title still scheduled for Q3/Q4 2025). Reported last year by Insider Gaming, the Far Cry 7 is in development by Ubisoft Montreál and shifting from Dunia Engine to Snowdrop, set in a garbled area where a worthy family is hit by kidnapping of their members by a cult.

Love the series but not sure about the rumored 72 hour game clock thing. These games are always a fun sandbox to mess around in and I look forward to another. Also a far cry 4 classic would be nice too.

I not sure if the idea still in the development or the element is completely changed or something. The FC7 entered into final stages of production so the original gameplay change
like that is unlikely, but Ubisoft is sticked to.

I used to adore FC, I still play it because sometimes its nice to go mess around in an open world. FC6 though did not leave a good taste in my mouth

I think FC and Watch Dogs lost its roots as time went, I liked the addition of FC6 but something felt missing and repetitive but honestly I dont think Ubisoft cares about FC too much as much as they do for AC

I hated the doomsday clock in Lightning Returns. I hope they dropped this mechanic. I want to play single player games on my own pace. Far Cry 6 also felt disappointing to me. Liked all titles before. Far Cry 4 the most. I hope they come up with a fresh setting and a few new game mechanics.

Farcry 3,4,5 were all chefs kiss

Far Cry has been stale for a while now, but it's always a fun time to play in co-op. I really think that they should lean more into co-op or at least increase the maximum players to 3 or 4.

I love this series hopefully this next one is good

Most likely all Ubisoft games going to get pushed back now because of Outlaws and Shadows, not sure if that's a good or a bad thing to be honest, but I'm curious if they actually start changing things up to create something unique for once.
