Either specific game or perhaps the stuff you do in-game 
For me it goes something like:
1. Diving deep underwater in GTA - I have legit fear of large bodies of water. I haven't scuba IRL & never ever will. But I torture my psyche by doing this especially in GTAV. Moreover I'm curious if there's actually Godzilla or Cthulhu or whatever monster I could find in these depths!
2. Spending more time in character creator / customisation than gameplay - Yes. Just ask WWE 2K19, Soulcalibur VI, etc.
3. Playing Ghost Recon Wildlands over & over again - I lost count how much in-game hours I've spent with this game. It's such a fun game to roleplay like Splinter Cell or even as guys such as Metal Gear, Rambo, etc. on top being a legit solid open-world playground.
