As a gamer for very long time now IMO this should be mandatory for online-focused games so kudos to Ubisoft for this.
Can't forgive them though for NOT doing this for Ghost Recon Breakpoint
For us many gamers the issue here is game preservation.
So for that matter I honestly hope someday soon there's got to be some sort of legislation about this much like what they do for movies & things of that nature.
That's why personally I stay away from these kind of games, single player but strangely "requires" to be connected to the internet.
Which makes you wonder, why do these companies keep making them when 90% of them aren't that profitable really & doesn't get the acclaim of single player games.

Shame they never did anything like this for The Crew 1 in time but atleast it seems like the pressure got to them

I think it's $1 on all platforms, probably gearing up to delist in the not-too-distant future due to licenses expiring
