Square Enix refused to approve character bots in Astro Bot

- Team Asobi's Nicolas Doucet has revealed that there are no Square Enix bots in Astro Bot because Square Enix did not approve of the collaboration
- Team Asobi wanted to have a Cloud bot because of the character's legacy on PlayStation
- Doucet however added that Team Asobi respects the decisions of all publishers
- Twisted Metal's Sweet Tooth was also left out because the team were advised against putting a serial killer clown in the game
