I hope so... But I think it'll take some time and might not come until the PS6 is out maybe. But all we can do now is wait and see as nothing is guaranteed.

I think it's got NOTHING to do with PS3 Cell tech.

I don't know & I'm not sure but it's definitely weird that Sony won't re-release / remaster their other PS3 exclusives when they did with Last of Us 1 & God of War 3.

So why we haven't seen MGS4, Resistance 1-3, Infamous 1-2, etc?

Your guess is as good as mine.

My theory is... They don't seem to value these other IPs as much as TLOU & GOW (MGS4 is Konami's call probably). For them it's not worth the disc manufacturing effort, marketing cost, etc.

Forgot about this. They added PS2 emulation not that long ago too. Vita and PS3 has to be around the corner lol

PS3 was very difficult to develop for so i'm expecting it would be hard to provide compatibility for it too. They already have streaming for a lot of titles in PS+ Premium. I don't think it's a priority for them.

That would be nice. But I only want MGS4, as I never got a chance to finish it before my PS3 died.

I wouldn't mind that and it would maybe make more people interested in the PS5 Pro... But then again like I said so does it sound like Sony might delay it until the PS6 or PS6 Pro is out though so yeah I guess all we can do is wait and see what happens in the next 1-5 years or more.

That would be smart. Would give them a ton of goodwill too, especially if your library of purchased games comes over. I have 200+ digital PS3 & Vita games that aren't accessible anymore

Exactly yes... Which would be better than nothing as a lot of people do really want it and I am one of them!
