Is COD declining?

So many years of the same game over and over. First it was the same engine, then they ruin the story. Then remaster after remaster.

I love COD, but not like it since COD MWII. Zombies wasn't great, I loved DMZ, but they killed that. Warzone isn't that great anymore. The new map also.

I'm hoping Battlefield new game makes them make a better COD again
Instead of all the rehashed micro transactions skin game.

Dude good call because I've been asking myself about this same thing not only for COD but generally for FPS genre.

IMO their focus on multiplayer should shift; what about an open world Call of Duty? Think of the possibilities if Activision makes a Wildlands like game.

And as you said too much reliance on microtransactions which is 👎

Personally I always come back with my experience with the original COD4 on 360 & how they should build upon that or expand that like maybe create a Solid Snake / Splinter main so they can different things with him ie open world spy game you know what I'm saying.
