I realized that as we get more members, we don't really have a place for people to introduce themselves to the community. So, let's get that started here!

I'll kick it off.

I'm Mike, one of the senior editors at Insider Gaming. I've been a journalist for 15 years, and have worked covering the games industry for nearly 13. When I'm not covering games or playing them, I'm usually playing music on my guitar, doing web development work, or spending time with my family.

My favorite games? It's really a top 3 at this point: Heroes of Might & Magic 3, Undertale, and Majora's Mask. Though, Balatro is making a case!

I'm Andy, a contributing writer at Insider Gaming. I've been a professional writer (mainly in video games) for over five years, covering everything from everyday gaming news and guides to handling reviews for the industry's biggest titles. It's hard to think of a moment in life when I'm not holding a PlayStation controller or Nintendo device.

However, it does happen, and it's usually when I'm holding a golf club and deluding myself into thinking I can play, standing at a Heavy Metal gig, sitting on the couch watching sports, or suffocating my cats with attention and pets.

I've played literally hundreds and hundreds of games in my life, but I struggle to pick favorites as I have too many for various reasons. Instead, you can have my top franchises—God of War and Metal Gear Solid!

Hi, I'm Grant - but you might know me as Nukov.

Probably not.

I'm one of Insider Gaming's senior editors and the category lead for the esports vertical, for my sins. I've been penning gaming content for the better part of a decade, and I've been playing games since I was old enough to press buttons. I've written over 2,500 articles for IG in the last two years, so I'm hoping you're at least partially familiar with my work!

I play everything from open-world RPGs to FPS titles, and from simulation games to platformers, and I'm across everything from PS5 to PC to Switch to VR.

I'm (surprisingly) one of the very few IG writers from the UK, too. Don't hold that against me.

Anyway...

Hello fellow IG members,

I'm YeezyDude (Or YD/Yezzy if you want a shorter version of it).

We're only a few moderators here so it's me, SoloDolo and 1-2 more moderators as well. I've been a moderator on a few sites/forums etc. since late 2009 where there's 1000-4000 members at least on every site but could be less as well depending on the site/Discord as some has less members due to when it first was made/launched. Besides that so have I had my own site back in the late 2000's into the early 2010's called "Tekken Insider" which I had a vision/dream to turn it into one of the main Tekken fan websites to be part of besides Tekken Zaibatsu, SD Tekken etc. but that didn't work so I moved on to just been part of the other Tekken and non-Tekken websites where I shared Tekken and PlayStation related news, leaks etc. and that's something I'm still doing here, on X, KTT2, Icon Era etc.

But that doesn't mean that I do only play and like Tekken games as I'm into most kind of games but not really into JRPG/RPG, MMO etc. games unless it's RPG/JRPG games that do mix some action/adventure and Hack N Slash stuff into them... But hey I love gaming on a Sony or Nintendo console/handheld but if I've the money/time so won't I mind also gaming on PC and if Xbox is still a thing at that time that happens and all of their games isn't on the Sony, Nintendo and PC platforms as then so isn't there really any need to own one and I might just get a Xbox controller for the games on PC that still only supports the Xbox controller.

And also besides gaming so am I a huge fan of stuff like movies, anime, music and fitness as well including healthy stuff like food/drinks and also traveling to countries I would like to visit one day like Japan, Korea, China, the USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia etc. including learning more language besides the ones I can speak so far!

I'm also a lot into Technology and content creation, photography/making videos and I hope to turn it into something in the next 3-5 years hopefully!
