I was having a conversation with Ty about Read Dead 2 & how big of hassle it is for me who's still in the HDD world because it's such a massive game as far as I know (Google specifically says 150 gigs!!!).
So I told him that I'll probably play the game if or when I get a PS5, which contains SSD, because... Wel... Deleting & resintalling + slow internet download speeds = .
Anyway it got me thinking; what could be the next technological marvel human beings conceives to help not only videogames obviously but every other sector that runs on electricity in terms of storing all our ever precious data.
Speaking of, I have a question to you guys because aren't servers stored in hard drives still? Not SSDs? Both? Like those big CPUs on top of each other or something I saw in movie Die Hard 4.
I'm genuinely curious tho when zombie apocalypse happens or aliens invade us if our PSN purchases will be safe forever & ever
Thanks guys.
