Every year EA adds some "groundbreaking" feature that usually turns out to be just a fancy menu or a social hub to push more microtransactions.
I’m curious to see how an open world even works in a football game probably just walking around a stadium to buy gear but if the ball physics and the AI scripting don't change, it’s still the same game at its core. I’d much rather see them put that effort into improving the career mode or fixing the servers.
