Efforts To Stop Spam Posts

Hi everyone. Thanks for being so patient as we continue to work on ways to reduce and prevent the spam posts that have gotten through on to the site.

A bit thank you to our moderators @YeezyDude, @SoloDolo, and @Captain_Fuzz for helping keep things clean as well! It truly means a lot.

As far as the path forward, we have implemented new steps to prevent spam threads from being created. When a new user joins, they can reply to threads right away. However, in order to start a new thread, their posts will have to be approved. After three approved posts, they will have the ability to create new threads without approval.

That should limit the bad actors who come in simply to cause problems and create spam.

Yes I can do that now and finally also see reports about spam or anything that people here do report and want us moderators to do something about it. And if there's more features for us moderators coming in the future so am I looking forward to it so we can do more to keep this site clean and peaceful!
