I really want them to remake the Resident Evil Outbreak games. I picked up a copy of the second one on PS2 a few weeks back, but a few modern improvements wouldn't hurt.

I didn't like RE 5 at all. Quit the game about halfway through. Played the demo for RE 6 and was like, no thanks. I am looking forward to seeing what RE 9 is. I would love a main line RE game with Ada because playing Separate Ways expansion in RE 4 remake was great. Enjoyed it more than the base game and I love the grappling hook.

I can see why you didn't like it... But believe it or not so did RE 5 get me into the RE series and now so have I bought almost every game and is just waiting for the RE 5 remaster, RE 9 and the other remakes Capcom is working on... But yes I do agree I need more Ada Wong in the new RE games as well!

You started RE with RE 5? Damn. But hell, I started Assassin's Creed with Black Flag so have to start somewhere. lol

It's not that RE 5 was a bad game or anything, I just wasn't into the co-op aspect, the story, the characters and the locations/environments as it was sunny all the time. I was like, this isn't RE. Just didn't vibe with the game.

For RE 6, the Leon demo part if im remembering it correctly was the part that felt like survival horror but the other two segments of the game didn't so simply skipped the game which is the only main line RE game that I didn't play the full version of the game.

If Code Veronica and Zero remakes are true, I will be very happy. I'm very interested in seeing what RE 9 ends up being. As for other remakes, I wish they would remake Dino Crisis especially since I never played them and won't unless they get the remake treatment. I'm still hoping that Final Fight Remake happens because that's my all time favorite beat em up and would love to see it get remade.

Yeah I didn't play RE 4 on the PS2 and so when I got a PS3 so did RE 5 look very cool and then so did I purchase it and was having a good time playing it which then made me buy RE 6 which was decent... Well what I did get to play at least so I'm thinking about playing it again once I'm done with some more RE games. But I can see why you didn't really like RE 5 and RE 6 though.

Well whatever RE 9 is going to be so do I hope it'll be good... But since RE 7 and RE 8 were great games so does it seem like RE 9 will be too hopefully!

Ahh yes those remakes should be good... Good thing that I didn't buy RE: CV yet... But I got RE 0 which I won't mind buying it again though as I want the best version of it which this remake of it should be! (y)
 
I'm honestly surprised Capcom hasn't done OUTBREAK File 3 or a remake.

It's one of the most unique entries on the franchise & even on PS2 it has offline couch co-op.

Personally I haven't played RE7 or 8 so in all honesty I'm not that too thrilled with 9 yet. Reason too being is that I'm not that big of fan when they switch to FPS cam.

Tho IMO they should go open world with 9 sorta what Days Gone is.

Yeah that was something I was thinking, Yk the last thing u said that they can take inspiration from State of decay is something that I didnt think about, it will quiet interesting. But seeing the DR remaster or remake I kinda didnt understand why it is downgrade from the original one, it was quite shocking yk since expectation from the RE engine was quite high. For now the only thing I want is a new Ace Attorney game, Resident Evil Game and anything new. Getting tired of these remakes and remasters. It has been soo common in the industry now.

It's kind of weird playing it that way yes... But I think you'll get used to it eventually.

And yes RE 2-4 are some amazing remakes indeed! (y)
