Delta Force: thoughts?

So, being the Battlefield fan that I am, I just discovered Delta Force. I for one am cautiously optimistic! What are people’s initial thoughts?
How do you think the gaming community will respond to the Black Hawk Down narrative in 2024/2025 vs the 2002 movie? Will it be accepted or criticized because of the setting/events?

It looks really good, and being free is hard to beat as well. Tack on an extraction mode and you might have a really big winner!

Not going to lie, i played it and forgot about it. Im a huge Battfiled fan and I like real-time tactical games but Delta Force just seems off and boring. Feel that same way about squad . With games like the intense Six Days in Fallujah and Ready or Not it makes it really hard to focus on games like Delta Force.

Still waiting for it to drop on console. Looks fun to play for a bit, but really hope Battlefield will get back to how it was
BF2042 is not that bad anymore. Its actully fun if you have a squad. But I would really like something like BF3.. let go back there!

That’s a bummer to hear. I’m still willing to give it a try on the 14th.

Tactical Turmoil/Extraction was engaging to me with the loot, missions, upgrading base and the tension of fights in the playtest. However Havoc Warfare bored me as a Battlefield type experience and wanted a way more tactical large scale shooter that doesn't get into Milsim.

Really tired of BF style experiences being reduced to chaotic messes with no depth. So much can be done with the formula but feels like the stuff we've been getting on the AAA side is mostly MW Reboot Ground War experiences.
