Best video game adaptations?

They've got a negative stereotype around them in my opinion - a lot just seem to alienate core fans of whichever franchise they're of in turn for making much more of a generic showing. Have you got any favourites? TLOU series was pretty strong for example

Fallout. I’m way more into original stories being told in a games universe over an adaptation.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I wasn’t a big fan of HBO’s The Last of Us. Probably due to having played the game and knowing the story beats that are coming. Just zero suspense or mystery around it.

I wouldn't say they're the "best" but I really enjoy the two silent hill movies. Especially the first one.

Hands down, the Sonic movies. They are near flawless. I also am one of the weird ones that liked the Warcraft movie, I just felt they crammed too much into one film
