Assassin's Creed Set in WW1

Would anyone like to see an Assassin's Creed game set in WW1? I've always thought it would be an interesting concept despite it being fairly "recent" in the grand scheme of things. Running through trenches using your hidden blade, sneaking through no man's land, etc.

Hell yh! Trenches, occupied towns etc. a big focus on stealth and diversion to counter the more modern weaponry

As a military history nerd, WW1 in particular, that would instantly make it the first AC game I wouldn't get bored with after about twenty minutes :p

Itd be interesting but I think it would need better gun play being set during WW1. Maybe third person that switches into first person when you hold down a trigger to aim similar to mgs 5.

Ubisoft already did that to a degree. The Syndicate free DLC is set during WW1 London.

Any AC coming too close to modern times, especially with guns being prevalent seems alien to me. Blackflag or AC3 is the closest to me they should get to because rifles needed to be charged, and I can envision an Assassin getting the drop on their ennemies by being quick enough.

But if we're not getting goofy with stuff like blade versus guns, how a little hidden blade is supposed to make sense and being relevant against guns ? The internal logic of such an organisation would be moronic and visually, they need to change so much the core pillar gameplay of AC that it basically be an Hitman game to make sense.
