It's a damn shame because Ubisoft developers and IP has so much potential but they're in a mire of bad choices and decisions. Except the Guiellmot family won't take blame along with toxic managers etc and probably do something really stupid like making the next R6 or Ghost Recon into XDefiant but with Scorestreaks.

Don’t know why but I am actually afraid a bit of the acquisition of Ubisoft by Tencent.

I noticed that a notable number of users in different countries tend to hate Ubisoft by default. But I actually see huge efforts of Ubisoft to create good games.

E.g. I really enjoyed Prince of Perisa: The Lost Crown on Nintendo Switch. And I think that PoP TLC is a candidate for GOTY.

I also liked Motor Fest Crew & AC: Mirage last year.

At the same time I won’t argue about the failure of Skulls & Bones. I played it and it sucks.

I also liked The Rogue Prince of Persia.

If they acknowledge, they have the intent. They are probably seeing if others will bid on the company. Ubisoft has been a great company bringing amazing titles. Like EA, they have just become too woke. The current leadership seems detached from the player base and with a quote like "we feel that you should get use to not owning your games". You can certainly see why a quote like that would hurt sales. Between outlaws and xdefiant having the biggest impact on the sale of the company? I'd say it was xdefiant by a long shot. It was the golden goose to financially save the company. It now faces shut down of further content being made because it still hasn't recovered its player count.
