Really does seem like Ubisoft is becoming more and more of a taboo branding. People, me included, are doubtful of their games' quality as soon as they're announced and I think for good reason; they never really feel finished to a good polish, they're often overpriced in an attempt to push ubisoft+ subscriptions and it's like they've lost their way with the vision for what people expect from their games. Off the back of Black Flag's reception HOW do you mess up Skull & Bones so badly?!

'A camel is a horse designed by committee' -- they've got so many people all trying to do something different with the games all at once that the vision never comes to fruition...

I'm playing Star Wars Outlaws now. I'm in awe of the world, I love it. I think the biggest mistake I make with these types of games is entertaining the filler content, which in turn creates boredom.

I watched a few people play a bunch of this game, it came across as a decent enough game. Graphically it looks good.

When I first loaded it up and got out into the world, I was thinking this is a Star Wars fans dream. I was surprised at the reactions to it. Early days for me though, I'm 13hrs in.

After all the responses and clips I've seen, I will pick it up a bit later. Hopefully with pretty big updates. But not expecting that they can overhaul the entire game

Making the game better over time will not make it more appreciated, from the moment you buy it you expect it to be in the best condition, but Ubisoft has already accustomed us to having the game finished long after release.

I played this only because a friend bought the disk and I have to say it is impossible to improve it.
What is good about this game is the star wars atmosphere and some of the story. This can hardly be improved. at this point
What is so bad about this game is the combat and extremely repetitive traversal.

Playing through the levels felt like I was paying a tax to get to the next cinematic/dialog dump. After 2 hours I disabled all the brain-dead puzzles and turned on every accessibility option.

haven’t played StarWars Outlaw yet. But I should admit the efforts of developers to fix their mistakes.

May be gonna give a chance to this game on PS5.

What do you think?

Tired of AAA studios putting out unfinished goods while solo developers make take-two interactive quality works in comparison…
I agree. They are too reliant on the internet. I want the game to be bug free and complete on day one. I am amazed that on my XSX and PS5 that I see all these game patches in the queue when I log in, and notifications of when they were updated. I know this is the future, but it doesn't me I have to be happy about it. I just have to accept it I guess.
