So the game won't be on their broadcast for TGS?

Call me crazy, but not having the marketing beat for your biggest title of the year (with a lot of pressure on it thanks to the reported underperformance of Star Wars) at the biggest gaming event in Japan, the country where you set your game, seems like a massive mistake.

It feels like there's something weird going on

It can't be logistics, budget factor, etc. can it?

But if I'd to put tinfoil on, they'd probably wanna avoid the whole "Ghost Recon Wildlands & Bolivia" controversy again.

I love this game so much (Wildlands) & still play to this day but I'm not from Bolivia so I can't speak for someone from there, however positive or negative I may appear so.

Just my theory this is why they aren't doing stuff FOR JAPAN'S biggest videogame extravaganza for their newest game set IN JAPAN, Ubi wants to distance from any potential issues given their past.

Of course I could be absolutely way off here & be completely wrong lol but the timing is indeed weird.

Ubisoft, like many game developers nowadays, can't seem to just take the time needed to make a good polished game. Too many investors that have to be pleased and rush rush rush stuff through the pipeline. If it's frustrating for the customer base I can only imagine the devs are equally frustrated.

Dude for real.

When suits get in the way with devs' vision, technical side of things etc. this is what happens.

But when you just let creators CREATE at their own time & pace? Magic.

Just take a good look at Fromsoftware for instance & their recent ultrahigh quality games Elden Ring & Armored Code 6; just devs taking their time, doing what their love to do.
