I think we'll see this more and more with the spiralling cost of development. Games will need to be on as many platforms as possible to have a chance of making a profit.
 
I don't see PlayStation doing this unless there's a gambit for them. Some third-party games will end up being multi-platform because of revenue and a new playground. Excluding PC, PlayStation wants to stay dominant without having to pull in another console (i.e Xbox)
 
With all those exclusives going "global", i really hope to see forza horizon 5 on ps5 in 2025, literally one of the 4 games that have a drivable BTTF time machine

Zero; PlayStation first party game studios maybe one from a 3rd party. That’s a big maybe.

PS/Sony would never put a product on gamepass. MLB THE SHOW were told by MLB yes you are putting the show on gamepass. It wasn’t a voluntary move.

Jez Cordon also said people told him that the Series S would run circles around the PS5. Lately Jez is wrong more than right.

Jez does not always report facts. This is a long standing rumor that comes and goes like the wind.

There isn’t any games or reasons for sony to do this. Absolutely non.
