Really? Well that's still better... But I hope the RTX 6090 isn't only 30 % or less than that better than the RTX 5090 though. I guess we'll see what happens in the next 2-3 years.
The 5000 series appears to be 20% faster than the 4000 series in rasterization. The big difference in performance is due to the Multi Frame Generation, that's why they announce that the 5070 has the same performance as the 4090.
If Nvidia wants to sell these new generation GPUs they have to make this new technology exclusive, because if it was available in the 4000 series, they would not be able to say that the 5070 has the same performance as the 4090.
If I am not mistaken this new generation does not have any component required for Multi Frame Generation to work, so this limitation should be able to be bypassed by software.
