Fortnite’s Messi Skins Release Tonight

Fortnite has officially announced that their Messi collaboration skins will be released tonight.

Fortnite has released a new teaser titled ‘Live the Legend’, which revealed that new Messi and Lion-themed Skins will drop tonight, December 13. Messi seems to be able to transform from a Lion by using an emote featuring his iconic goal celebration.

There are two Messi Skins players can grab in Fortnite. As revealed by ShiinaBR, The first is Streetwear Spark Messi, which features the Argentinian maestro in a hoodie and jeans. The other skin is Lionel Messi, featuring the World Cup winner in a football kit. Additionally, there are two Lion-themed alternative outfits, one in golden and the other in white.

Here’s what Lionel Messi had to share about his collaboration with Fortnite (via iFireMonkey):

“It’s amazing to see myself represented in Fortnite. As a kid, I would never have imagined something like this. Football has always been synonymous with joy and connection, and now fans can live that experience through my very own skin in a way that transcends the pitch. I hope you enjoy it!”

In other news, Fortnite players are getting their cut of a $72 million refund. The developers are also reportedly working on an extraction shooter game mode. What are your thoughts on the Messi skins in Fortnite? Let us know in the comments or our new community forum!

  • Fortnite is going down the toilet under current leadership. Missed opportunity to have Playboi Carti to promote his album. Still no Vultures and the whole new Snoop Dogg collab is stupid not just the Eminem one the other one with his son to add some movie with Justin Timberlake from over 10 years ago that no one liked or remembered to Fortnite is stupid.
