In a new blog post today, the Fortnite team confirmed key details about the anticipated Fall Guys collaboration, which is finally available after its delay.
The crossover allows players to create Fall Guys-themed islands with UEFN and Fortnite Creative. Fans will have access to assets from both games, and outfits will automatically turn into beans. Naturally, non-Fortnite skins will be turned into default beans instead.
Today’s post adds that “you will be able to publish your Fall Guys islands starting August 6 via the Creator Portal.” Players need to publish their creations manually.
According to the new blog, islands must have an ESRB rating of E for United States, and a PEGI rating of 7 or less for Europe.
Further, any islands that players build with the Fall Guys template also have a chance to end up in a “limited time Fall Guys row.” This should give the new islands a chance to shine, and help build the community in Fortnite.
The Fortnite team originally intended to release the Fall Guys crossover in May 2024. They later delayed it until Summer 2024, with no concrete release window.
Today’s Fall Guys collaboration comes via Fortnite’s anticipated v30.30 update. The major patch also adds the new Tesla Cybertruck vehicle, which drew some fan criticism. A recent leak also teased some of the potential new mechanics coming to Chapter 6 in Fortnite.
