In a recent post on X, reliable longtime leaker HYPEX teased that Fortnite Creative Mode could potentially let players create maps with IP collaboration items.
HYPEX did not have a concrete release window to accompany the leak. However, today’s post suggested the Fortnite teams is already “working on a way” to implement the feature.
The leaker also claims that collaboration items involving Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are currently supported so far.
However, the new feature may come at the cost of revenue sharing. HYPEX claimed that more IP content could “likely” require maps with collab items to share a percentage of its revenue “with the IP owners.”
Fans consistently request collab items for Creative Mode, and it could open a lot of inventive opportunities. Fortnite frequently collaborates with popular IP, such as the recent tie-in with Deadpool & Wolverine.
Besides the Creative leak, HYPEX also recently leaked an extensive list of release dates for new additions coming to the Fortnite Item Shop.
That includes more IP crossovers with Lethal Company, My Hero Academia, and Jujutsu Kaisen. HYPEX claims these items will release through the first week of August 2024.
Other new Fortnite leaks include the desert biome from chapter one possibly coming to Reload. It’s one of many leaks that followed the major v30.30 update in Fortnite, which introduced a Fall Guys crossover and more.
