Fortnite’s Godzilla Transformation Mythic Will Arrive This Friday, It’s Claimed

According to a new leak, players will be able to transform into Godzilla in Fortnite thanks to a new mythic coming this Friday.

Spotted by TheGamer, reliable leaker HYPEX has revealed that Fortnite is receiving a Godzilla transformation mythic this Friday, January 17. The new mythic will allow players to transform into Giant Godzillas and wreak havoc across the islands with their monstrous abilities. When transformed, players can use skills like Beam, Stomp, Roar, and more. Additionally, a “throw banana” ability has been spotted in the files, which is believed to be a Kong mythic.

Godzilla descended onto Fortnite Island yesterday, marking the start of the Godzilla X Kong collaboration. We have already seen the Japanese kaiju make an appearance on the island, and it’s just a matter of time before King Kong from Skull Island shows up, too. If the Kong mythic does show up, there will be some interesting Godzilla vs Kong matchups that players can experience this season.

Talking about Fortnite and Godzilla, another leak by HYPEX has revealed that Mechagodzilla has been confirmed for the game, too. The shop text description for this item stated, “B.E.A.S.T. Glove Emote utilizes different sounds when equipped with Mechagodzilla or Godzilla.”

In other news, Hatsune Miku’s skin leaked online before Fortnite Festival Season 7. Also, here’s how many players that play the game in 2025. What are your thoughts on Fortnite’s Godzilla Mythic? Let us know in the comments below or on our community forum!
