Fortnite x Crocs: $70 Collaboration Arrives With Plenty of Jibbitz

If you’re a true Fortnite fan, then prove it by buying a pair of the new Fortnite Crocs, which are set to be released on October 29 with a $70 price tag. They’ll be launching hand-in-hand with a range of on-theme Jibbitz, which are the small charms that are clipped into the holes on the top of your Crocs.

They’re pricey, but what’s money compared to walking around town in the hottest Fortnite drip hitting the market this holiday season?

Walking Tall

The Fortnite x Crocs collaboration makes sense and looks great, but it’s an expensive one. At $70, the Fortnite Crocs cost almost twice as much as a standard pair of Crocs, and it’s assumed that the Fortnite Jibbitz will be comparatively priced.

However, if you’re a real fan, that means nothing. I’ll go ahead and assume you’ve spent thousands on emotes and skins over the years, so this is a drop in the bucket.

The Fortnite x Crocs collaboration has produced a snazzy pair of comfortable footwear themed on the Battle Bus. The Jibbitz that we’ve seen so far include a supply drop and a Llama, but it’s expected that the range will be expansive, given the number of recognisable in-game items. I’m personally hoping for a Chug Jug for my Fortnite Crocs if I’m honest.

It’s worth stressing that these Crocs aren’t just stylish – they’re also practical. Each pair of Fortnite Crocs comes with a ‘back bling’ device – a small pouch that attaches to the back of the shoe that’s reminiscent of the item of the same name in Fortnite. It looks as though the pouch is functional, allowing you to store small items – perhaps your Jibbitz – in the shoe.

I’ve just written 300 words about Fortnite Crocs, and my day couldn’t have been started in a better way. Are you going to cop these Crocs? Let us know on the Insider Gaming forum.
