Former League Of Legends Coach Sentenced On Child Sex Offenses

It is a sad day to learn of some of the heinous acts committed by people who were, at one point, highly regarded within the esports space. The former UK League of Legends coach, Lorcan ‘Lorcz’ Elliott, has officially been sentenced on child sex offenses, putting the man in prison for four years and eight months.

The news, which broke at Esports News UK, came earlier today (September 4, 2024), as the former LoL coach was officially sentenced.

League Of Legends Coach Sentenced To Almost 5 Years In Prison

The former League of Legends coach has pleaded guilty to 22 different sex offenses regarding children. The man was found guilty of inciting children to engage in sexual activity, taking indecent photos of children, distributing indecent photos of children and attempting to have sexual conversations with children.

Elliot has now been barred from working in any industry with children in the future and has been officially placed on a sex offender list. The former coach had originally been sentenced to seven years in prison, but his sentence was reduced due to no prior convictions.

Elliot had also sent sexual photographs and videos of himself to underage children.

Lorcan Elliot Charged On 22 Accounts Of Child Sex Offenses

Lorcan Elliot was a notable name in the UK League of Legends scene just a few years ago, as the man worked as an esports coach on several different teams. Some of these teams included Nuclear Storm, London Esports and Giants.

The man had also spent plenty of hours representing the University of Cambridge in NSE national university League of Legends esports tournaments.

It is incredibly disheartening that someone could fly so low under the radar, with many peers in the industry having no idea of the malicious and disgusting intent someone holds.

Hopefully, no one ever has to fall victim to Elliot’s behavior ever again.
