Exoborne’s gameplay trailer is finally here, and it showcases a perfectly intense and high-octane extraction shooter experience that’s bursting at the seams with action-oriented sequences and futuristic combat elements.
In the short but punchy trailer, we get a glimpse at the upcoming first- and third-person shooter that fuses unpredictable weather patterns with high-tech exoskeletons to present an extraction shooter experience like no other.
Master The Apocalypse
Exoborne is a promising, post-apocalyptic extraction shooter set in a world torn apart. Players enter a series of environments armed to the teeth with technology, weapons, and abilities, seeking high-value rewards and loot, which they’ll then try to extract before the world around them becomes too much to bear.
It’s a PvPvE shooter, so it operates similarly to Escape from Tarkov and other extraction shooters, but it’s so much more intense and action-oriented.
Here’s the Exoborne gameplay trailer:
Players will be invited to explore expansive environments, making use of their traversal abilities to cut across the territory as efficiently as possible. They’ll be able to lean on vehicles, high-powered weapons, and a string of abilities including boost packs, grapple hooks, and deployable shields to ensure their survival.
Presently, the extraction shooter genre tends to lean towards slower-paced, realistic, and more ‘simulation-like’ elements than it does balls-to-the-wall action mechanics. Exoborne could be the disruptive title that shakes up the genre with reckless abandon.
