EXCLUSIVE – Hogwarts Legacy Definitive Edition is in Development

The game was good fun for a playthrough but with 0 endgame content or replay-ability it dries up immediately after 1 completion. A DLC storyline sounds good, here's hoping for some sort of NG+ feature.

I don't know how I feel about these updates that require you to pay up some more if you want the new stuff, which most likely won't contain any story related thing at all.

"The Definitive Edition is said to have around 10-15 hours of additional content, with a new story quest, side quests, activities, and outfits."

There'll be some actual mission content, depends on the price they lock it behind as to it being worthwhile.

My comment was aimed towards remasters like Horizon Zero Dawn, which gets you no new content, and I'm pretty sure all their future remasters will do the same.

Oh 100% that Horizon remaster is nonsensical. At least these directors cut-esque updates add stuff in.

Absolutely! When I read that this one adds like 10 to 15 hours of content, I was like "that's how you should do it!". These playstation remasters on the other hand gives nothing to people who already played the games. Probably nice if you never played those games for sure, but it also raises the price of the game for no particular reason.

Insider Gaming understands that a Hogwarts Legacy Definitive Edition is in development. Its content will be sold as a separate DLC for those with the existing game.

Not interested in spending another penny on this garbage game. Give us a live service game that has constant updates and new content. Sick of buying games with no real replay value. I will NOT be buying this DLC.
