Enshrouded Gets Major New Update

Keen Games has announced the next major new update coming to Enshrouded. Known as “Back to the Shroud” this update includes dozens of gameplay fixes, changes, additions, and more.

“Our third update is already here, and with it, quite a few ways to tailor your Enshrouded experience to suit the way you like to play!” Keen Games said.

“This one is focused on adding a couple of key features, with some improvement to existing features and quality of life changes. Of course, it does include the usual fixes and polish.”

One of the biggest changes to the game with this third major update include the addition of difficulty settings. Instead of one base difficulty, players will get to choose between five options:

  • Default – The baseline original difficult that Keen recommends for first-time players.
  • Relaxed – Reduces amount of enemies while giving you more resources and loot.
  • Hard – Increases enemy amount and makes fights tougher
  • Survival – “For those who seek some punishment with additional survival mechanics like hunger and dropping all of your backpack on death.
  • Custom – Exactly what it sounds like. Each preset in the game can be modified to fit your gameplay desire and style.
