Since it’s launch in 2015, Bloodborne has been a game that fans have been clamoring to see get a release on PC. With Sony bringing over other first-party franchises like God of War and Horizon, it seems obvious to players that Bloodborne should be on that list.
However, it hasn’t happened yet. But there is some hope of getting Bloodborne running on PC thanks to a new PS4 emulator.
The developers of the ShadPS4 emulator have been working to get the game running on PC since the emulator launched in 2023. And while progress is slow, it’s been steady enough as they have gotten the game’s opening cutscene to work within the emulator.
Specifically, the developers have Avplayer, which is a streaming library that plays mp4 files on PS4, running along with “some graphics improvements.”
“As already probably figured out from the posts around , we continue to improve slowly but stable the Bloodborne game,” the developers said.
They continued on to say that the game is still “far from” being playable at this point, but they are making more progress “every day”.
