Elgato Stream Deck+ Gets Two New Hardware Extensions

One of the more versatile pieces of PC equipment is getting more use today as Elgato has announced two new extensions for its Stream Deck+ controller, an XLR Dock and USB Hub.

“Oftentimes, creator hardware takes up lots of space, while doing too little,” said Jörg Gohlke, Senior Engineering Manager at Elgato, in a media release. “With extensions like XLR Dock, Stream Deck + not only improves on these workflows but also has a smaller footprint. Why use multiple devices when you can do so much more with one?”

The XLR Dock allows creators to connect their mic directly to the Stream Deck+ without the need for an extra interface. The USB Hub comes with two USB-A 3.0 and two USB-C ports with transfer speeds up to 5 Gb/s. There is also a 65W uplink USB-C port along with a 100W USB-C port for use with a 100W adapter.

Both the XLR Dock and USB Hub are available to purchase today via Elgato’s website.
