Elden Ring Was The Best-Selling Game In June 2024

Elden Ring was the best-selling game for June 2024, according to the latest data from Circana.

First launched in 2022, Elden Ring jumped from eighth on the list to first thanks to the release of its massive Shadow of the Erdtree expansion that release on June 20. The expansion was so successful that it sold over 5 million copies in its first three days.

Coming in at number two for the month was Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, which sat at third for May 2024. At numbers three was a surprising entry with Kingdom Hearts: Integrum Masterpiece jumping from 399 which finally released for Steam on June 13. Rounding out the top five were Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance and Hogwarts Legacy.

Last month’s number one-selling game, Ghost of Tsushima fell to 12. Games that fell completely out of the top 20 for the month include F1 24, Stellar Blade, Fallout 4, Madden NFL 24, and Rise of the Ronin.
