Fromsoftware has announced a network test for the upcoming co-op game Elden Ring Nightreign. The test will begin in February, but signups will begin a bit sooner.
Starting January 10, players will be able to register for the test on the game’s website. The test will be available to those on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
“The network test is a preliminary verification test in which the selected testers play a portion of the game prior to the full game launch,” FromSoftware and Bandai Namco said. “Various technical verifications of online systems will be examined by conducting large-scale network load tests.”
Announced during The Game Awards 2024, Elden Ring Nightreign is a “standalone adventure within the Elden Ring universe, crafted to bring a new gaming experience.”
“Join forces with other players to take on the creeping night and the dangers within featuring 3-player co-op, uniquely skilled champions, and relentless threats,” the game’s description reads.
The game is scheduled to release sometime in 2025. More details on the game along with an exact release date will be announced in the future.

The beginning of From Software going into live service that’s what this seems like it’ll lead to and it’ll make Sony want to buy them more. Guess that Kadokawa deal will get announced next year.
