Elden Ring Nightreign Announced At The Game Awards

FromSoftware has revealed Elden Ring Nightreign, a brand new co-op action-adventure game, during The Game Awards 2024. Releasing in 2025, Elden Ring Nightreign will be available for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.

You can check out the full trailer for the game below.

Elden Ring Nightreign is a standalone game that acts as a spin-off to the original Elden Ring as opposed to a sequel. The game lets players play with up to two other players on a smaller map based on the Limgrave region of the Elden Ring map. Each enemy will be randomized at the beginning of your playthrough.

This new game comes after FromSoftware has said multiple times that it wouldn’t release another expansion to Elden Ring after Shadow of the Erdtree nor was Elden Ring 2 in the works. That said, it was said that the series wasn’t over.

What do you think of Elden Ring Nightreign and its co-op focus? Let us know what you think down below or in the Insider Gaming forums.

  • Can we get something else instead?! Please! Otogi please remake the first 2 and make a third, make a new Tenchu game or remake the old ones. If From doesn’t have the rights Microsoft have Vicarious Visions remake Tenchu.
