The EA Sports FC 24 Closed BETA has been added to databases, suggesting that the BETA is coming soon.
Accurate data miner Aggiornamenti Lumia has revealed that the EA Sports FC24 Closed BETA has been added to Microsoft’s internal systems. If you’re familiar with FIFA’s past announcements, reveals, and BETAs, then the news might not come as a surprise, but the information suggests an announcement is imminent.
FIFA 23 had its official reveal trailer on July 20, 2022, and we expect EA Sports FC24 to follow a similar announcement cycle. In April 2023, EA revealed that more information on EA Sports FC will be revealed in July.
“This is where the story of EA Sports FC begins. We’re building on 30 years of leadership and history creating experiences that bring the global football community together, and continuing to take it into a fan-first future,” Nick Wlodyka, SVP & GM, EA Sports FC, said via press release. “EA SPORTS FC will be a symbol for the sport, a symbol of innovation and change, and we’re energized to show our fans more about the future in July.”
Although Lumia is unable to provide the file sizes for PlayStation (as he primarily covers Microsoft details), he revealed the following game sizes for the BETA on Xbox:
- EA SPORTS FC24 CLOSED BETA (Xbox Series X) | 41.57GB
- EA SPORTS FC24 CLOSED BETA (Xbox One) | 39.23GB
We can expect the PlayStation to have similar file sizes.
It was officially revealed in April 2023 that EA Sports FC was set to replace the FIFA series, with the first game set to release later this year.
