If you’re a subscriber who is unsure about Dungeons of Hinterberg, it will only cost you time to download the game and try it. Thanks to Game Pass, I intend to hop in on day one to test out this niche action game full of magic, monsters, and mysteries.

What is Dungeons of Hinterberg?

It’s an action-adventure game with RPG elements in an alpine village. You play Luisa, a law trainee who took to the Austrian Alps for adventure and mystery.
The gameplay loop of Dungeons of Hinterberg involves traversing the landscape via snowboard and zipline, tackling monsters with swords and magical abilities, and solving puzzles that alter the game’s environment. Along the way, you’ll meet locals and adventurers alike, forming bonds as you go.
