Dragon Ball Sparking Zero Confirms GT Characters in New Trailer

Bandai Namco has finally confirmed the news that all Budokai Tenkaichi fans have been waiting for, as Dragon Ball Sparking Zero’s latest trailer unveils characters from the GT series.

Many fans were worried that GT characters might get skipped for Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, even though they were available in the previous Budokai Tenkaichi games, as GT is considered non-canon. However, the latest trailer features action-packed scenes with some of the fan-favourite characters from this series.

The new trailer starts with Kid Goku (GT) showcasing his attacks and Super Saiyan 1 and 3 transformations during his battle against Baby Vegeta. Pan is also introduced during this section. As the fight continues, Baby Vegeta showcases his transformations, including Super Baby 1 and Super Baby 2.

Further in this battle, players see Uub (GT) in action, showcasing his diverse moveset and the Majuub transformation. Then came the most popular characters from the GT arc, such as Goku Super Saiyan 4 and Vegeta Super Saiyan 4. Super Baby 2 also displayed the ability to transform into a Great Ape Baby during the battle, and Goku uses his famous x10 Kamehameha to defeat him.

The trailer’s last segment reveals the GT series’ final villain, Syn Shenron and his transformation, Omega Shenron. The final character shown in the trailer is the iconic fusion of Super Saiyan 4 Goku and Vegeta, Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta. Those are all the GT characters showcased in the latest Dragon Ball Sparking Zero trailer; the next could feature characters from the Super arc.

  • No Super 17 though 😕 but the hype is real!! I wonder who the remaining 10 are my guess is the original Dragon Ball characters like Kid Goku and Demon King Piccolo. Also wish we got Golden Great Ape Goku in this. I hope DLC gives us all the movie and anime exclusive characters, Tarble, Black Janemba, Chilled, Hatchiyak, SSJ-SSJ4 Bardock, SSJ4 Gohan, SSJ3 Trunks, Adult Gotenks, Hearts, Cumber, SSJ4 and Limit Breaker Broly, Fuu, and all the Super Dragon Ball Heroes characters and forms! Also they should get the original Kid Goku actress from the dub to come back release a patch with her voicing Goku or AI with her permission doing the voice for Kid Goku, Kid Gohan, and Teen Gohan she should especially come back because of Daima or get a sound alike there’s a ton of people who sound like her.

  • Bring back Stephanie Nadolny to voice Kid Goku and Kid/Steen Gohan use the old audio or pay her to come back I know she can do it she was in OK KO doing it. Also add Super 17 and it’s 40 years we need a Blu-Ray of the original Dragon Ball anime and have Stephanie return to voice Goku in Daima she needs to come back! The new actresses suck same with the new Bulma bring back the OG’s I can tolerate Uub having a different actor though I prefer the previous ones but Kid Goku is iconic.

  • Hype is real but this game still needs a ton more hopefully DLC gives us all the missing characters. Hope next is the OG Dragon Ball characters.

  • All I need now is the Shonen Jump crossover game for the 55th anniversary. Goku Jr and Vegeta Jr would have been awesome in this too also bring back the original actress for dub Kid Goku. Still hoping Pikkon, Garlic Jr, Janemba, Android 13, Turles, Tapion, Z Broly, Z Gogeta, Slug, Cooler all forms, and all the original Dragon Ball characters make it would love to get SSJ4 Gotenks and Ultra Instinct Grandpa Gohan I hope he’s in Daima. Bandai please get the original dub Kid Goku actress back. I hope Mechkabara, Fu, Heart, Cumber, Launch, the demons, Moro, Ultra Ego Vegeta, Black Janemba, Black Frieza, and all of SDBH make it.

  • This was the bare minimum for me I’m getting it now. Fingers crossed DLC isn’t DBS crap. Hope we get all the missing characters Golden Great Ape GT Goku was one I wanted, all the other Shenrons too, Super 17, and outside that all SSJ forms of Bardock, Tarble, Mechikabura, Demigra, Chamel, Demon King Dabura, Towa all forms, Fu, Robelu, Chornoa, Fin and Gogeta SSJ4 absorbed, Aeos, Majin Ozotto, Salsa, Shroom, Putine, Gravvy, Hearts, Lagss, Cumber SSJ1-3, Cumber Golden Great Ape, Shroosa, Gohanks, Vegeks, Adult Gotenks, SSJ 4 Broly, Limit Breaker for all SSJ4, SSJ4 Gohan, SSJ3 Vegeta, SSJ3 Trunk, God Trunks, Fu all forms, Oren, Kamin, Kamioren, SSJ4 Vegito, Adult Goten, Ultimate Kamioren, Merus, Vidro, Mira, Black Janemba, Bojack, Slug, Z Broly, Z Gogeta, Tapion, Manotia, Hirudegarn, Paragus, Z Janemba/Super Janemba, Cooler/Super/Meta/Gold, Grand Supreme Kai, Turles/Xeno Turles, SSJ Raditz, Beat, Pikkon, Garlic Jr, Note, Android 13/Super 13, Android 14-15, and Towa fused with Mira. Also would love SSJ4 Gotenks and make SSJ5 a reality also Garlic Sr.. I hope the next 10 characters are going OG Dragon Ball. Also hope we get Jackie Chun for Roshi.
