The upcoming title releases at the end of this month, giving players a long-awaited Fall release. The franchise has not released a full game since 2014, making the upcoming release very popular.
The new game, however, will lean a bit more into its release on PS5 over Xbox and PC.
“We are excited to see how Dragon Age: The Veilguard will lean into the power that PS5 Pro unlocks for players,” said Maciej Kurowski, the BioWare Studio Technical Director. “Whether you love deep progression, strategic combat, or diving into the lore of Dragon Age, you will immediately notice the improved experience with PS5 Pro.”
So, what will the PS5 do differently than the Xbox?
“The game’s Fidelity and Performance modes will both see improvements on the hardware, including improved resolution in 30FPS Fidelity and 60FPS Performance modes. Additionally, there will be various improved visual settings across 30FPS Fidelity and 60FPS Performance mode.”
It is already well known that the PS5 is a bit better of a console, hardware-wise, than the Xbox Series X|S consoles. However, PC players who have a high-end PC will get the best experience when playing Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
