Dr Disrespect hasn’t been seen in front of a camera since the end of June when allegations surfaced online implicating him in a ‘minor messaging’ scandal. He since copped to the wrongdoing and was subsequently dropped by his peers, sponsors, and companies he worked with before plunging into radio silence amid an ‘extended vacation’.
He has just announced he’s returning tomorrow.
Back Again, But What Awaits Him?
Dr Disrespect is coming back to streaming tomorrow. The charismatic and controversial content creator posted a cinematic ‘trailer’ on social media revealing his return, and it was created in the aesthetic that the streamer’s fans have come to know over the years, suggesting that nothing has changed for ‘The Two Time’.
He then posted a comment immediately under the trailer in an attempt to pre-empt some of the inevitable responses:

Since admitting he was banned from Twitch in 2020 after messaging a minor in 2017 through the platform, Dr Disrespect has lost tens of thousands of followers across all platforms. He was demonetised on YouTube, and his key sponsors – such as Turtle Beach – cut ties with him.
In recent days, Dr Disrespect suggested that he might not be coming back to play games, making a post claiming that people streaming video games were hosting ‘snoozefests’. Despite the controversy surrounding the notorious streamer, millions of impressions have been landed within mere hours of his post going live, and even some supporters have come out of the woodwork.
It’s important to stress that nobody knows what his return will look like – he’s just adamant that it’s happening tomorrow.
