Death Stranding Director’s Cut Announced for Xbox Series X|S

Kojima Productions has just announced that Death Stranding’s Director’s Cut will be coming to Xbox Series X|S and PC today.

The surprising announcement was made on the official Kojima Productions X account (formerly Twitter), where the developers announced, “DEATH STRANDING DIRECTOR’S CUT – Xbox Series X|S Edition & Windows PC Edition – On sale today at a special limited time offer of 50% off!”

You can now buy Death Stranding Director’s Cut at the Xbox Store here, where the game is available for £17.50. The game is also available at the 50% discount rate on both Steam and Epic Games. The game will be published by 505 Games.

Death Stranding was first released for the PlayStation 4 in November 2019 and later for the PlayStation 5 in September 2021 with a Director’s Cut. According to review aggregator Metacritic, the game received ‘generally favorable’ reviews.

As of July 2021, the game sold 5 million units.

Death Stranding 2, a sequel to the original, is also in development and is scheduled to be released in 2025.
