In a recent post on X, the official Dead by Daylight account revealed that a crossover with Five Nights at Freddy’s is coming in 2025.
Although it did not offer a concrete release date, it did confirm that the collaboration will arrive sometime in the summer season. So, it may not be too long before the devs can share more information.
The current post only offered a promo image for the crossover. It did not reveal any actual details about the upcoming gameplay or characters involved. However, fans are quickly speculating on the promo image, searching for small hints about potential content.
The announcement shortly followed FNAF_ScottGames teasing via X that fans should keep an eye on someone’s account.
Fans widely anticipated a collaboration with Fortnite. After all, Fortnite was due for another timely update. While the Five Nights at Freddy’s crossover ended up in Dead by Daylight instead, some fans may still be pleased.
The official FNAF_ScottGames account has also been actively updating fans with behind-the-scenes production images.
Recent images appeared to tease that Toy Bonnie and similar animatronics could show up in the Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 movie. FNAF_ScottGames later offered up another production still just yesterday via X.
Most recently, the Dead by Daylight team also revealed a roadmap for its live updates coming in 2024. The live updates coming through November 2024 will include quality-of-life upgrades, and tweaks or updates for both killers and perks.
