Dead by Daylight Team Reveals 2024 Live Updates Roadmap

In a new post on X, the Dead by Daylight team revealed its 2024 roadmap for live updates coming to the game through November 2024.

These live updates will include various improvements for quality of life, as well as tweaks and updates for perks and killers.

August will be the busiest month in the roadmap, with 10 new updates. Players will see quality-of-life and gameplay updates for scratch marks and Midwich Elementary School.

The first killers to receive new tweaks are Doctor, Nemesis, and Dredge. The first perk tweaks include Dance With Me, Deception, Diversion, Chemical Trap, and Mirrored Illusion.

In a highlight from the roadmap of live updates, the Dead by Daylight team is planning perk updates for Leverage, Hex: Crowd Control, Distortion, and Blood Rush.

These changes will arrive sometime between September and October 2024, and they could shake up the meta more so than minor tweaks.

Naturally, the developers did warn fans that “timelines may change, but we’ll keep you updated as we progress.” There are no exact release dates, but the roadmap adds that the monthly release windows are “subject to change based on development needs.”

Most recently, Dead by Daylight kept the summer season busy with major July updates. Those included the anticipated 2v8 mode and cross-progression. It also featured the somewhat divisive addition of Lara Croft.
