Croc Legend of the Gobbos finally has a release date. After being delayed from December 2024 to Q1 2025, developer Argonaut Games has announced that Croc Legend of the Gobbos will launch this April.
“The wait is nearly over,” the studio announced via social media. “We’re thrilled to announce that the highly anticipated remaster of Croc Legend of the Gobbos is launching April 2, 2025!”
First announced back in August 2024, Croc Legends of the Gobbos is a full remaster of the original game that was released in 1997 for PlayStation, Sega Saturn, and PC. The game will see new HD graphics along with updated modern controls. The game also includes a “Crocipedia” which is an “extensive and meticulously curated digital museum containing long-lost development assets such as game design documents, concept art, animation tests, team member interviews, and much more.”
When it releases, the game will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
