Sony and Firewalk Studios have revealed the post-launch roadmap for the upcoming team-based shooter Concord.
When the game releases, Concord will feature six game modes, 12 maps, and 16 Freegunners. After the game’s launch, however, even more will be added for players. The first season of Concord begins in October, and will include a new Freegunner, a new map, new variants, and various quality of life updates.
The second season begins in January and will also see a new Freegunner and Map added. There will also be a new game mode for all players. Though no details were revealed, Season 3 for Concord is scheduled for April based on the roadmap image below.
The game, as previously reported, won’t have a battle pass system for players. Instead, Firewalk Studios will launch an in-game store for players.
“With season 1, we’ll also be introducing an in-game store for those looking to personalize their Freegunners further with additional customization items and to continue to support the game,” game director Ryan Ellis said. “These will supplement the hundreds of rewards earnable through progression and will be solely cosmetic, optional, and have no gameplay impact.”
Concord launches on August 23 for PlayStation and PC. Those who purchased the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game can start playing on Tuesday, August 20.
