Civilization 7 was announced for a 2025 release, but now Take-Two Interactive has confirmed a specific release window.
According to the company’s latest earnings report, Civilization 7 will release in Q4 of fiscal year 2025. That puts it releasing before March 31, 2025.
“Rule as one of many legendary leaders from throughout history,” the game’s current description reads. “Establish your civilization, construct cities and architectural wonders to expand your territory, conquer or cooperate with rival civilizations in pursuit of prosperity, and explore the far reaches of the unknown world. Will you build an empire that stands the test of time?”
The first full deep dive into Civilization 7 will come during the Future Games Show later this month. The Future Games Show will air on Wednesday, August 21 during Gamescom 2024. The first gameplay reveal trailer will come during Opening Night Live on August 20.

Except it’s not if you realize that they JUST REPORTED Q1 for FY 2025.
Should at least do 60 seconds of research before making yourself look like an idiot.
You mean how the attached earnings report says Q4 FY2025 while also saying in that same document that Q4 FY 2025 ends March 31, 2025?

Fiscal years vs the end of Q4 are confusing. Q4 tallies are tabulated at the end of March the following fiscal year. It’s weird, but it’s right.
What’s frustrating when it comes to following all the earnings, is that each company can realistic choose when their fiscal year begins/ends. So one company can do a calendar year as their fiscal while another could hypothetically start in August if they want.

Did you bother to read the attached earnings? They just reported Q1 for FISCAL YEAR 2025. Q4 FISCAL YEAR 2025 ends March 31, 2025 PER THEIR OWN DOCUMENTS

Good god everyone admit your wrong an Mikes right, Fiscal years are usually based on day one being the day you open for business or found one or whatever. If you started in May it runs May to March. Open in October, the fiscal year runs October to September. Fiscal and Calendar are not the same.
If a dozen people ask the same question, maybe make an update to the article so it is more clear. Even if you are right.
