CDL Pros Prove They’re Better Than Warzone Players at COD Next

Call of Duty NEXT is officially over, and fans have the full scope of what’s coming in Black Ops 6 and beyond. During the super-sized COD showcase, dozens of creators and pro players were invited by Activision to enjoy Warzone and Black OPs 6 ahead of release, and the action was streamed live for all to see.

As millionaire pro players clashed with Warzone streamers on LAN, a definitive line in the sand was drawn. In one example, a trio of pro OpTic players from past and present dominated the Warzone lobbies, picking up four wins back to back.

I’m Saying Nothing

I don’t need to tell you what the comments were suggesting when OpTic’s CDL players (and Methodz) wiped the floor with Warzone streamers at COD NEXT.

But I will.

Many suggested that Warzone players couldn’t run their VPNs on LAN to secure easy lobbies, and others were resolute in their opinions that Warzone players ‘can’t hang’ with CDL pro players, regardless of the game. In some clips that surfaced online, we saw the likes of Shottzy and Kenny running rings around Warzone creators, laughing all the way to the bank.

With four wins secured back to back, the OpTic Texas crew showed why they’re rated as some of the best Call of Duty players in the world. Earlier this year, OpTic Texas won the Call of Duty League Championship, netting a million-dollar prize and securing the grandest trophy in COD esports.

Do you think CDL players are better than Warzone players at Call of Duty?
