Call of Duty is getting another major crossover when Season 5 kicks off at the end of the month. In a post on social media, it’s been announced that Call of Duty and WWE are joining forces to bring the world of pro wrestling to Modern Warfare 3.
The simple tease that was posted mentions that more information is coming soon with them coming to the game “starting July 24.”
“It’s about to be a smackdown,” the official post reads.
It’s unclear exactly what will be a part of this crossover, but it should be expected that the game will get some sort of WWE operator. We’ll have to wait and see exactly what else comes when the reveal happens in the next couple of weeks.
This isn’t the first time that WWE has done a crossover with games. Earlier this year, the company did a crossover with Fortnite to bring Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch skins into the game.
